Corsando makes organization of free time easier

Wil SG – Startup Corsando has developed a platform that offers an overview of available fitness classes and other courses. Organizers can use this to easily manage their classes and courses, which can be booked directly by those who wish.

Each year, 1 billion Swiss francs is spent on leisure activity courses in Switzerland, Corsando writes in a press release with reference to figures from the Federal Statistical Office. The startup from the St.GallenBodenseeArea has developed a platform that provides a clearer overview of the ever-growing variety of classes and courses on offer. The corsando.com platform has now been live for a few weeks.

Organizers can advertise and manage their classes on the platform, while potential participants benefit from being able to see all classes available, with the option to sort by different categories. Users can also book classes directly on the platform and the fee is automatically transferred to the organizer. “This reduces the time and effort of searching, while the organizers are in turn able to reach a larger potential target group,” the startup from Eastern Switzerland explains.

Corsando was founded by CEO Janine Rey with the aim of promoting a better work-life balance, which is why many of the classes are ones that enrich free time. She also wanted to give smaller organizers a platform for raising greater awareness of their classes and courses.
